Review: Queck Baby Moccis and Chewbeads

The lovely Melinda at Queck Baby recently sent Luca and Mika each a pair of Moccis and a string of gorgeous Chewbeads for me to try out. I must first say that their products, and packaging, are flawless. So often, I’ve bought slippers or socks for my boys from Bay City or Woolies and after a couple of wears, they start to deteriorate and fall apart. I guess I should have known, upon reading about how and where Moccis are made, that they would definitely be of better quality than local, cheaper products:

Each pair of Moccis are made by hand with delicate hand stitching and in order to ensure the best possible quality. Moccis are made in Sweden of natural Ecotex certified materials. The leather sole is durable and flexible, allowing the foot to move freely. The moccasin has double elastic at the ankle which will prevent it from falling off.

They have an awesome range of designs too, to suit the tiniest baby boy, to the trendiest toddlerette :) Melinda gave Luca the “Fly Me to The Moon” Moccis, featuring a cartoon airplane which he adores! Mika looks super cute in his “Bee My Moccis” – he loves having shoes on! He’s at the stage where he’s really discovering things about his own body, so looking down and seeing these eye-catching yellow and black “slipper-socks” looking back at him, entertains him to no end :) He’s also crawling up a storm, so the traction provided by the leather soles of his Moccis is a welcome advantage!

I haven’t had a chance to actually wear the Jane Turquoise Chewbeads myself, but they’ve provided Mika hours of droolicious entertainment. He’s got the peak of one pearly white poking out of his bottom gums and is CONSTANTLY seeking out things to chomp on.  They’re easy to clean, super-soft on his gums, but strong enough to give his itchy gums some relief.

Luca, Mika and I give these two Queck Baby products a big thumbs up!
