Last December, a friend from the US shared a link to the Portable North Pole, which allowed me to create a personal message “from” Santa to Luca. Luca’s eyes almost popped out of his head when Father Christmas addressed him by name, and spoke about the train that he wanted for Christmas, as well as the arrival of his baby brother, just weeks before.
This Christmas, Luca is 3 and a half years old. The concept of Father Christmas is INCREDIBLE at this age. When we were little, our parents would plant cookies and milk for Santa to enjoy after he’d dropped off our presents, which would be gobbled up, with just crumbs remaining, when we awoke on Christmas morning.

My mom did this for Thomas last year. Ben will be included this year too. SUCH a fabulous idea. Christmas takes on a whole new level of fun and magic from 3. I can’t wait. X
